A thermal bridge is an area of the wall where the temperature is very different from the adjacent areas, due to the rapid loss of heat that occurs in particular periods and areas of the building. In the area of the thermal bridge, the surface temperature is lower and as it drops below the dew point, the water vapour in the air condenses and creates greater humidity on the walls, which then becomes mould. Thermal bridges reduce living comfort, increase heating costs and can lead to the formation of mould on the walls of buildings. Treatment with Suberite controls the problem naturally, effectively and safely.
